Position Overview Cubhouse Pediatric Therapy is actively hiring Pediatric Occupational Therapists (OT) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) to provide services to children and families across Texas, including the Austin, Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, San Antonio, El Paso, and surrounding metro areas. Depending on location and contract, this may include home, school, and community-based visits, as well as virtual service delivery. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat pediatric clients in home, school, community, and/or virtual settings Develop individualized, client-centered treatment plans grounded in current best practice Deliver evidence-informed, neurodiversity-affirming interventions targeting sensory processing, emotional regulation, fine and gross motor skills, handwriting, visual-perceptual skills, executive functioning, self-care, and feeding Educate and coach caregivers, teachers, and support staff on strategies that carry over into daily routines Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with payer and regulatory requirements Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including OTs, OTAs, SLPs, and mental health professionals Participate in case discussions and contribute to a family-centered, strengths-based model of care Flexible scheduling — build a caseload around your life Competitive per-visit or hourly compensation Continuing education support Supportive, collaborative clinical team with peer consultation Opportunity to grow with the company as we expand across Texas License/Certification Active Texas Occupational Therapy License (Required) — OT or COTA CPR Certification Qualifications Master's or entry-level degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active Texas OT or COTA license (or eligibility for licensure) Clinical experience with children and adolescents; pediatric home health, school-based, or early intervention experience preferred Familiarity with sensory integration and neurodiversity-affirming approaches Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills Comfortable working independently across home, school, community, and/or virtual settings Reliable transportation and auto insurance (for community-based roles) Reliable internet and a private, HIPAA-appropriate space (for virtual roles) Strong communication skills for collaborating with caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary team members Experience with culturally responsive, family-centered practice is a strong asset Work Location Texas-wide — on the road and/or virtual, depending on role and contract Company Description Cubhouse Pediatric Therapy is a mobile, community-based pediatric occupational therapy practice supporting children and families. We provide evidence-informed, neurodiversity-affirming care for children and adolescents with diverse developmental, sensory, emotional, and functional needs, with a focus on emotional regulation, sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, handwriting, visual-perceptual development, executive functioning, self-care, and feeding. Therapy happens in everyday environments — homes, schools, and communities — so intervention is practical, meaningful, and easy to fold into daily life.
