Flavors Blender Operator - 3rd Shift

divh2Job Title/h2pThis position is responsible for the addition of raw materials to a blender to produce a quality finished product./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliDrive a forklift to bring materials back and forth from the blender area./liliVerify and assure accurate counts of raw materials needed to produce a blended product./liliAddition of raw materials to the blender following the manufacturing sequence on the formula./liliDischarging blended product from the blender using the prescribed screen size./liliSampling of blended product./liliPackaging of product in the prescribed package weight./liliFilling out of daily production report to document production, quality, and performance./liliCleaning and sanitizing of the blender, sifter, and all support equipment./liliSanitation of work station and surrounding areas./liliDisposal of trash and garbage dumpsters./liliAdherence to all department procedures and GMPs./liliAbility to maintain all performance standards./li/ulh3Skills and Requirements/h3ulliHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred/liliManufacturing experience preferred/liliAbility to:/liulliRead and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos/liliWrite simple correspondence./liliCommunicate with individuals and small groups/liliRead, write and speak English./liliMathematical Skills to include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals./li/ulliMust be able to complete Annual Operator Training/li/ulh3Physical Demands /Work Environment/h3ulliWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 80 pounds. Must have ability to work and climb up to 60ft. above ground./liliEmployee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions. The noise level is moderate. Hearing protection is required in designated areas./liliThe employee is required to wear a respirator after a Doctors approval and successfully passing the fit and pulmonary test./li/ulpSalary range: $17.00 - $25.00/ppThe actual compensation that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors.
