Project Manager/Estimator at Cccnetwork. About the role Cccnetwork is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join our team in Gas City, Indiana. In this pivotal role, you will oversee various construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget. You will be responsible for estimating project costs, managing resources, and coordinating with various stakeholders to achieve project objectives. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. Key facts Location: Gas City, Indiana Engagement: Full-time Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience Visa: Sponsorship available for qualified candidates What you'll do Develop comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, timeline, and budget for each project, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards. Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing project specifications, blueprints, and other relevant documentation to ensure accurate budgeting. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and ensure all project requirements are met. Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as needed to stay on track and within budget. Conduct regular site visits to assess work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines. Facilitate effective communication between all parties involved, including clients, team members, and external vendors, to ensure smooth project execution. Prepare and present project proposals to clients, showcasing your understanding of their needs and how Cccnetwork can meet them. Manage procurement processes, including sourcing materials and negotiating contracts with suppliers to secure the best pricing and quality. Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports, to ensure transparency and accountability. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential issues that could impact project delivery. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and enhance project outcomes. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and estimating within the construction industry. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering quality results on time and within budget. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members. Proficiency in project management software and estimating tools, such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Nice to have Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager). Experience with sustainable building practices and green construction methods. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations specific to Indiana. Knowledge of Lean construction principles and practices. Skills & tools Project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project) Estimating software (e.g., Sage Estimating, PlanSwift) Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong negotiation and contract management skills Risk management and problem-solving abilities Practical notes This position is based in Gas City, Indiana, and may require occasional travel to project sites within the region. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is available for qualified individuals.
