Maintenance Technician

Full-time Maintenance Tech Location: 122 IA-175, Ida Grove, IA 51445 Please note: All positions listed are on-site roles and require in-person attendance. Job Description Midwest Industries is looking for a reliable, motivated, and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This full-time role is responsible for machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Candidates must be comfortable working with high-speed production equipment and able to perform duties in varying weather conditions. Key Responsibilities Perform emergency and unscheduled repairs on production equipment to minimize downtime and support operational efficiency. Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and machine service repairs in a timely manner. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production machinery. Maintain compliance with all OSHA safety and health regulations and company safety standards. Support continuous operations by responding quickly to maintenance needs and equipment issues. Perform additional duties and maintenance-related tasks as assigned. Training and Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training and exposure to high-speed equipment. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, walk, handle and finger, reach outward, reach above shoulder, squat or kneel, and bend as required by the role. Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance. Must be able to push and pull weight as required by the role. Requires vision, sense of sound, sense of smell, and sense of touch. Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, steel toe shoes, gloves, and related equipment. Individual must work in hot and cold environments and must be able to work in all weather conditions.
