Quality Control TechnicianThe Quality Control Technician uses Zeiss Calypso coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) to inspect precision parts in a machine shop environment, ensuring products meet defined quality standards and specifications.ResponsibilitiesOperate Zeiss Calypso CMMs to perform accurate dimensional inspection of machined parts.Set up and run inspection programs on CMM equipment according to engineering drawings and specifications.Inspect parts for conformance to quality requirements, tolerances, and customer specifications.Document inspection results clearly and accurately, following established quality control procedures.Identify nonconforming parts and communicate findings to appropriate team members.Support continuous improvement of inspection methods and quality control processes.Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of CMMs and related inspection equipment.Essential SkillsHands-on experience using Zeiss Calypso CMMs for parts inspection.Strong knowledge of quality inspection and quality control practices.Proficiency in operating CMMs and interpreting inspection data.Ability to perform detailed parts inspection in a production environment.Attention to detail and accuracy when measuring and recording results.Ability to follow technical instructions and quality procedures consistently.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working with CMMS or similar systems in a quality control setting.Experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.Familiarity with general inspection tools and methods.Understanding of basic mechanical or manufacturing principles.Why Work Here?Join a production environment where quality is a priority and your technical inspection skills directly support the delivery of precise, reliable products.
