At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Cycle Counter to work with Newell (PA) in Newville. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting seamless warehouse operations through precise counting and data management.

Shift Patterns

• 6 pm to 6 am Friday - Sunday and Monday 12 am - 6 am

Pay Rates

• 23.50 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Cycle Counter

• Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory control, logistics, or a similar role.
• Minimum 1 year of forklift or powered industrial equipment experience.
• Experience using inventory management systems such as SAP, PKMS, WMS, EMS, or similar.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with RF scanners.
• Experience performing cycle counts, inventory audits, and identifying discrepancies.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work overtime as needed.

Desirable Requirements for Cycle Counter

• Inventory Management Systems: SAP, PKMS, WMS, EMS, or similar warehouse systems.
• RF Scanning: Proficiency using handheld RF scanners for inventory tracking and transactions.
• Inventory Control: Cycle counting, physical inventory verification, recounts, and bin audits.
• Inventory Reconciliation: Identifying and investigating inventory discrepancies.
• Computer Proficiency: Comfortable using computer-based tools and inventory data systems.
• Forklift Operation: Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or similar powered industrial equipment.
• Warehouse Procedures: Knowledge of inventory control processes, warehouse SOPs, and safety protocols.
• Data Accuracy: Strong attention to detail when recording and updating inventory information.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with warehouse teams, supervisors, and other departments.

Role for Cycle Counter

• Perform daily cycle counts to verify on-hand quantities and identify potential discrepancies.
• Use RF scanning devices and WMS tools to record counts and update inventory transactions.
• Conduct recounts and bin audits as required to validate quantity accuracy.
• Operate powered industrial equipment to access materials in racking or storage areas.
• Support continuous improvement of inventory accuracy and warehouse processes.
