Technical Product Manager (TPM) – GamingOur client, a gaming technology company, is seeking a Technical Product Manager (TPM) with a strong engineering background and a passion for gaming. This is an exciting opportunity for a former full-stack engineer who thrives in product management, working cross-functionally with engineering, design, and business teams to ship high-impact features and tools.Key Responsibilities:Own product development – define the roadmap and execution strategy for key features, tools, and platforms that align with business objectives and enhance player experiencesBridge engineering & product – collaborate with engineering teams, translating complex technical challenges into clear, actionable product requirementsHands-on technical collaboration – leverage your full-stack engineering experience to review architecture decisions, contribute to technical trade-offs, and ensure high-quality executionAgile execution – lead sprints, manage backlogs, and drive product development in an efficient, iterative mannerStartup-style problem solving – navigate ambiguity, identify opportunities, and iterate rapidly in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentCross-functional leadership – work closely with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to bring player-centric product features to lifeWhat We're Looking For:Technical background – 3+ years as a full-stack engineer (front-end & back-end) with hands-on coding experienceProduct management experience – 3+ years as a Technical Product Manager (TPM) or similar role, working closely with engineering teamsIn-person collaboration – must be based in NYC and work 5 days in the office with the product teamOwnership & attention to detail – strong sense of accountability, ensuring end-to-end quality of complex featuresResults-driven mindset – focused on metrics, performance, and player experience, moving fast and shipping regularlyGaming passion – deep love for games, gaming culture, and an understanding of what makes a great player experience (prior gaming-related experience is a plus)Startup experience (preferred) – ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment and wear multiple hatsTech Stack:Frontend: Electron, React, Redux, Styled Components & other modern web-based technologiesNative: C# and C++ for Windows applicationsMobile: Swift for iOS, Kotlin for AndroidBackend: Java, Redis, RabbitMQ, KubernetesInfrastructure: Terraform, Salt, GitHub Actions, CircleCI for IaC and CI/CDWhy Join?Be part of a passionate and fast-moving gaming technology teamHands-on impact in shaping gaming experiences with cutting-edge technologyCollaborate with top-tier engineers and product leaders in an exciting startup environment
