School-Based Physical Therapist Opportunity in Orange, New Jersey

Job Description Minimum 1+ years physical therapy experience required. Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to evaluate students' gross motor skills, strength, range of motion, and functional abilities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' physical challenges and promote optimal participation in school activities. Provide direct physical therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, as outlined in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic success and social development through effective physical therapy interventions. Monitor student progress, document therapy sessions, and municate effectively with the multidisciplinary team. Qualifications: Master's degree in Physical Therapy. New Jersey state license or eligibility for licensure. Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations preferred.
