About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of direct RN Operating Room experience required. License: Active RN license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS (must have at time of submission), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start). Must-Have: Strong robotics, orthopedic, and neurological experience required. Description: Position for an RN in the Operating Room. Start date is determined based on the next applicable orientation date, typically 3-4 weeks out. Candidates with strong robotics, orthopedic, and neurological experience are preferred. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. One shift of on-call duty is required per week, plus two 12-hour weekend shifts per month. Nurse manager will discuss specifics during the interview. The candidate must be willing to float within the scope to meet facility needs. Block scheduling is not accommodated. Locals are accepted at the same rate. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Travelers must be nicotine-free, with no exceptions. A negative 10 panel drug screen, including nicotine (cotinine), is required prior to starting. All candidates must be willing to participate in training for students and new staff. This position requires strong experience in various surgical procedures, including robotic surgeries. Candidates should possess knowledge of infection control, patient management, and advanced surgical techniques. Modules that need to be prioritized upon confirmation need to be completed prior to start.
