Claude Code Developer

Our SI client is seeking a senior developer with experience building out their AI practice.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
• Build and develop software from scratch within a Claude Code-first development environment
• Write, review, and check in AI-generated code - ensuring quality, correctness, and integration with the broader codebase
• Integrate application logic against Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines - reading from and writing to ADF-managed data flows
• Connect to Databricks workflows and compute layers without requiring a dedicated data engineer
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers; expected to act as a senior contributor and informal resource for teammates on Claude Code best practices
• Develop and document processes for how the team uses Claude Code for development
• Potentially train and guide other team members on effective Claude Code usage from a development standpoint

Required Skills & Experience
• Claude Code - must have multiple real projects using Claude Code as the primary development tool; this is a hard requirement
• Python - primary programming language for this role
• API Development & Integration - strong experience building and consuming APIs
• Azure - familiarity with Azure environment setup and Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Databricks - experience working with Databricks jobs and compute layers
• Data Modeling - understanding of data structures and application logic
• Backend/Application Development - clean code practices, debugging complex systems, working across a real codebase


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Prior work in an SI or consulting environment
• Experience setting up and configuring AI development environments from scratch

Compensation:

$80/hr to $90/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment.
