Non-Invasive Cardiology Opening in Pennsylvania Located in Somerset, PA - Pittsburgh 69mWe are seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our team in Somerset, PA. Hospital employed There are two physician assistants currently at the practice, one full-time and one part-time, with a third full-time position in process of being added due to volume increase. An EP also sees patients at the clinic one day per week and performs procedures. The practice runs a pacemaker clinic once weekly. Outpatient practice uses Epic, and hospital uses Paragon Allscripts (plan to transition fully to Epic in the future). The practice is located directly across the street from the Hospital allowing for very easy access for going between the inpatient and outpatient settings. Non-invasive cardiologists rotate weekly between inpatient and outpatient services and are supplemented by the physician assistants. Hospital services consist of rounding/consults, TEE procedures, stress tests, echoes, and EKGs. Medical call is divided among the non-invasive cardiologists with some supplementation by locums for weekend coverage. Physician assistants provide some weekend rounding as well. About Somerset, PA Home to three of the top ski resorts in the eastern U.S. The Great Allegheny Passage, which is part of the 334-mile rails-to-trails project connecting Pittsburgh to Washington, D.C., runs through Somerset County. There are numerous cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobile trails throughout the county, as well as a multitude of mountain bike trails. There are ample opportunities for whitewater rafting, paddleboarding, and kayaking. Somerset County is home to several golf courses, ranging from nine-hole community courses to PGA-rated resort courses.
