Buyer

I have a client in the St. Louis, MO area that has an opportunity for a Buyer. If you or any of your colleagues are interested in this opportunity, In this role, you will be working as a Buyer for a client that works in the manufacturing industry. This position will be responsible for purchasing, including sourcing of raw materials, electronic components and other tools required for custom projects. This is a contract to possible permanent role that is a long term need for my client. This position must be worked on site. Pay; $55,000-$65,000/Yr. Requirements Bachelors Degree in Business or Supply chain or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience with purchasing or buying in a manufacturing, automation and/or heavy metal fabrication environment Familiar with machining, fabrication, electrical components ( motors, drives, sensors, relays etc.) Responsible for purchasing mechanical, electrical and pneumatic components ERP experience in a job shop environment (Emcompix preferred but open to SAP, SAGE etc.) Able to reach and understand technical drawings, blueprints and BOMs Able to work with vendors and suppliers - negotiate price and terms Track orders and expedite delivery of items when needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
