Senior IT Specialist (System Analysis)

Position Location This position is located in Office of the Chief Information Officer, Division of Service Delivery and Operation, Network, Cloud, & Infrastructure Operations Branch. Supervisor The supervisor is Matthew Picard. Qualifications In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level (GG-13) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized Experience Specialized experience is defined as experience that demonstrates thorough knowledge and understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure concepts, architectures and solutions needed to effectively design, develop, implement, operate and maintain agency systems in the areas of compute/storage, virtualization, operating systems, database, disaster recovery, cloud environments, remote access solutions, network management tools, capacity analysis, network architecture, and IT security. Ideal Candidate Criteria Demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise IT Infrastructure Concepts, Architectures, and Solutions. Demonstrated Knowledge of Project and Contract Management Principles in IT Environments. Ability to Analyze Complex Technical Problems, Perform Root Cause Analysis, and Recommend Effective Solutions. Demonstrated Ability to Communicate Complex Technical Information Clearly and Effectively. Demonstrated Ability to Engage Effectively with Stakeholders and Guide Contractors.
