Sales Consultant

Job Summary Sales Associate for La‑Z‑Boy Furniture Galleries in Surprise, AZ. Responsible for selling La‑Z‑Boy products and services to meet store goals while maintaining high customer service levels. Key Responsibilities Interact with customers professionally to provide the highest level of service and build rapport. Drive sales by contributing to store sales goals through the sale of furniture, accessories, and services. Complete all sales paperwork and customer service issues in a timely manner. Attend and participate in company training and store meetings. Assist in training, coaching, and developing new peers on product knowledge and selling processes. Accurately record order information, collect deposits and fees, and keep orderly customer records. Follow company policies, including those related to harassment, attendance, and sales procedures. Perform a minimum number of house calls to customer homes. Maintain a sales average consistent with company standards. Minimum Requirements High School diploma or GED. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, build rapport, and positively influence. Vocational or technical training in the field of study. Ability to bend, lift, and stand for long periods of time. Reliable transportation to drive to customer homes. Preferred Requirements Previous selling experience and strong closing skills. Organizational and problem‑solving skills. Computer literacy. Compensation Training Pay: $22.00 per hour for two weeks (no commissions). After Training: Base pay against commission of $45,864 (salary). Commission: Uncapped monthly commission ranging from 6% to 7.5% on individual written sales, based on the ability to meet specific individual sales goals. Average Post‑Training Earnings: $60,000 – $90,000+. Company will not pay less than state/local minimum wage requirements. Benefits Health Insurance through Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
