Residential Direct Support Professional

Appalachian Community Services is hiring a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP) in the Murphy, NC area to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their behavioral health needs. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license required. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Reliable vehicle with insurance. Ability to work scheduled 12-hour shifts Physical ability to to work in a variety of environments including navigating stairs and other barriers in private residences. Experience in direct care, caregiving, home health, behavioral health, or related support roles is helpful, but not required. Training is provided.
