Activity Assistant

Job Location: Vivera Senior Living of Jeffersonville - Jeffersonville, IN 47130 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $15.00 - $15.00 Hourly Job Shift: 1st shift Responsibilities Drive company van on organized outings, as needed Interview residents upon admission to determine their likes and dislikes Document the resident’s participation in activities daily Plan and maintain an inventory list of activity equipment and supplies Evaluate the overall effectiveness of the resident’s activity program and, as necessary, modify the program to meet the resident’s needs and interests Plan and coordinate the community newsletter Coordinate with the resident council to ensure resident input into the activity program Coordinate resident shopping orders for those unable to shop independently Engage with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences Qualifications High school graduate or GED equivalent Must hold a valid driver’s license Age 21 years or older preferred, with a driving record in good standing Prior experience driving a company vehicle for resident transportation activities is preferred Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Benefits Advancement and professional growth opportunities Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefit packages EAP & wellness programs 401(k) with biweekly employer match* Outside-In Employee Referral Program Intentional work‑life balance supported with competitive Paid Time Off* Self‑service payroll & accuracy tools (Paycom) *Benefits and eligibility may vary based on employment status (full‑time/part‑time) #J-18808-Ljbffr
