Dental Assistant - Pediatric Dentistry of Oklahoma

Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: Expose digital diagnostic X-Rays Record clinical findings and treatment information in patient records Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients Clean teeth using dental instruments including toothbrush and prophy cup Apply fluoride varnish, sealants, and SDF Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs Pour, trim, and polish study casts Assist in consults and treatment of tongue and lip ties on infants and children Assist chairside with nitrous while utilizing behavior guidance techniques Assist chairside during IV sedation Assist in the hospital for general anesthesia surgery cases Maintain a daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule Cement stainless steel crowns and space maintainers Fill and finish restorations About You The company is looking for: Warm and friendly demeanor toward patients of all ages Comfortable working shoulder-to-shoulder with doctors Ability to deliver exceptional chairside care for pediatric patients Open to candidates with experience or new students seeking their first opportunity Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary Benefit options including health, vision, dental, life insurance, and 401K Caring and fun company culture #J-18808-Ljbffr
