Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
The registered nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP specializes in providing advanced patient care during diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role requires clinical expertise and the ability to support a high-acuity cardiac environment on a travel basis.

Responsibilities:

• Administer directed patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Electrophysiology procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition promptly.
• Assist physicians with invasive cardiac procedures, ensuring safety and procedural efficiency.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in compliance with hospital policies.
• Educate patients and family members regarding procedures and post-care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency with invasive cardiac procedures and patient monitoring equipment.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Have strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
