About This Role
Assistant Toddler Teacher
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Centerville, OH. In this role, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children aged 12 to 36 months can explore, learn, and grow. You will work closely with the Lead Teacher to implement daily routines, manage classroom activities, and foster positive relationships with families. What You'll Do Job details
Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and daily schedules.
Provide attentive care to toddlers, including assisting with feeding, diapering, toilet training, and maintaining clean hygiene practices.
Supervise children closely during indoor and outdoor play to ensure their safety and well-being.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and organized classroom environment that meets local licensing regulations.
Engage with children during activities to support their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Requirements Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Prior experience working with toddlers or young children in a licensed childcare facility or structured setting.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting required by the State of Ohio.
Strong communication skills and a patient, nurturing demeanor suited for early childhood care.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 35 pounds throughout the day. Nice To Haves Nice to have
Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or coursework in Early Childhood Education.
Previous experience working with childcare management software or parent communication apps.
Knowledge of Ohio Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) rating system standards. Benefits
