Business Strategist II

Responsibilities Help identify, scope and drive critical projects for sales-related initiatives partnering with cross‑functional teams across the organization – especially in high‑profile AI product launches Lead sophisticated research and analysis (e.g., revenue, customer, or competitive trends and insights) for senior leadership to support decision‑making Conduct deep‑dive assessments of sales performance using quantitative data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement Drive operational excellence through identification and execution of opportunity areas that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or improve processes and approaches to the business Collaborate cross‑functionally (with Finance, Product, and Service teams) to refine recommendations and develop joint action plans Skills/Competencies Requires a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience; or a PhD without experience Experience in consulting, finance, or other professional services, OR strategy & operations experience at a technology company Fluency with SQL, Excel, and Tableau (or another data visualization platform); able to create and edit queries, pull data, and structure it in a meaningful way for analysis Proven problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex and diverse business problems (commercial, operational, organizational) Highly detail‑oriented, with solid business acumen and a clear sense of ownership and the ability to effectively manage multiple workstreams Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a history of influencing decisions Curious and willing to develop a deep understanding of the business and to suggest ways to improve Indeed’s go‑to‑market strategy and operations Salary Range Transparency Tier 1 - United States of America $93,000 - $139,000 USD per year Tier 2 - United States of America $104,000 - $156,000 USD per year Tier 3 - United States of America $114,000 - $172,000 USD per year Tier 5 - United States of America $130,000 - $194,000 USD per year Benefits - Health, Work/Life Harmony, & Wellbeing We care about what you care about.
