Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Port Arthur, TX

Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Support the daily operations of a pharmacy by accurately dispensing medications and assisting customers with their pharmaceutical needs in a dynamic healthcare setting. This per diem opportunity offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, perfect for professionals seeking flexibility with meaningful work.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday
8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (8.5 hours daily)

Key Responsibilities:

Distribute medications as prescribed by physicians and authorized healthcare practitioners.
Provide clear and accurate information to customers regarding medication use and safety.
Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support efficient workflow and accurate record keeping.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Texas.
Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings preferred.
Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
