About the Position

Contract | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts per week | On-call rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care across all areas of the Operating Room, supporting approximately 65 cases per day across OR and Endoscopy suites
• Assist with a broad range of surgical specialties including General, Vascular, Orthopedic, Neurological, Eyes, and ENT (open heart cases excluded)
• Operate and monitor equipment including Baxter pumps and robotic surgical systems
• Cross-train to Endoscopy suites as needed to support departmental coverage
• Participate in on-call rotation: one weeknight call per 4 weeks (7PM–7AM) and one weekend shift call (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) per 3-month contract period, up to 24 hours

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience across all areas of the Operating Room
• ACLS certification required
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
• Valid, unexpired driver's license (copy required at time of submission)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgical systems, particularly the DaVinci Surgical System
• Prior Endoscopy nursing experience or willingness to cross-train
• Familiarity with a high-volume, multi-specialty surgical environment
