Job Summary (Build and Release Engineer - CR289)
- Lead the DevOps team as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), responsible for system administration, monitoring, installation, configuration, maintenance, and operations of AWS and on-premises environments.
- Implement and maintain production and pre-production environments using automation and monitoring tools to achieve high uptime (99.9%) and reliability.
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and services (including Kafka, ECS, EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.) with a focus on high availability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
- Set up and manage alerts, alarms, and notifications in AWS Cloud using tools like CloudWatch and Dynatrace.
- Develop and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using CDK or Terraform for provisioning and configuration management.
- Automate system and application monitoring, maintenance tasks, and server management using tools like Ansible and Python scripting.
- Provide 24/7 support for environment troubleshooting, incident response, post-incident reviews, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and operations teams to support application deployments, change requests, and performance improvements.
- Document technical processes, create environment diagrams, installation/configuration documents, release notes, and report on common tasks and incidents.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to internal engineering peers and lead technical staff responsibilities.
- Ensure security best practices, conduct vulnerability assessments, and assist with application security testing.
- Support continuous integration (CI/CD) processes using tools like Jenkins and Azure Pipelines, and manage code repositories (Azure DevOps, Git, GitLab, SVN).
- Apply strong Linux administration, networking, load balancing, and firewall skills in support of highly available web application environments.
- Participate in designing and supporting large-scale, multi-data center web farm infrastructure and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) offerings.
- Assist in establishing configuration management programs, policies, and documentation standards.
- Provide technical solutions and triage for environment-related issues in both production and non-production environments.

Required Experience:
6+ years IT experience, 4+ years AWS cloud management, AWS certification (DevOps/Solution Architect), hands-on with IaC tools (CDK/Terraform), strong Linux and networking background, and proficiency with automation, monitoring, and CI/CD toolchains.
