Sick Leave

- Supervise and direct activities of cafeteria employees and work-study students.
- Plan balanced menus for meals served on campus.
- Purchase food, beverages, and related supplies and services; solicit competitive pricing.
- Control operating cash and other food service funds; maintain accurate accounting records.
- Supervise production of food in compliance with state food sanitation regulations.
- Manage and control inventories; perform regular inventory audits.
- Ensure quality control of food and service and maintain required sanitation standards.
- Monitor budget and assist with financial reporting for food service operations.
- Participate in college committees and campus initiatives as needed.
- Assist in preparation of Food.
- Perform other duties as assigned by college administration.
- Handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Maintain a professional attitude and demeanor.
- Communicate positively and professionally.
- Attend staff, college, and professional development meetings.
- Comply with ACCS, Reid State, state, and federal policies and laws.
- Support the college's mission and promote integration across campuses.

Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in a related field from a regionally accredited institution and 4 years work experience.
- Experience with food inventory control and budget management.
- Current safety training Certificate or the ability to obtain one ASAP upon hire.
- Current food service sanitation license (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
- Proficiency with common office and educational technologies (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience in high-volume food service operations.
- Supervisory/management experience.
- Experience with Ellucian Banner or similar ERP systems.
- Experience working in a community college environment.
