Assembly Technician II

Optical TechnicianThe Optical Technician will assist with the manufacturing and testing of various fiber optic and electrical components within a manufacturing environment. Also, able to perform various other duties and activities as assigned by the supervisor or manager within the physical constraints of the job.Roles & Responsibilities• Manufacture, assemble and test various fiber optic and electrical components• Perform Soldering of electrical components and inspect solder quality• Identify non-conforming material• Follow instructions to maintain workflow in accordance with process cycle process times.• Perform intricate procedures during product assembly processExperience & EducationREQUIRED • High School Diploma or equivalentPREFERRED• 1 to 2+ years of related experience in fiber optic and/or electronic assemblyKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesREQUIRED • Good computer skills and Microsoft knowledge• IPC J-STD-100 certificationTravel Requirement: This role may require domestic and potentially international travel of up to: <10%
