Position Overview We are in search of a compassionate and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging experts committed to providing outstanding care. Leveraging advanced ultrasound technology, you will perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, collaborate with a nurturing team of healthcare professionals, and enhance the quality of life for patients by delivering timely and accurate imaging results. Responsibilities Overview
- Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations including obstetric, gynecological, vascular, abdominal, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures while explaining each step with warmth and empathy
- Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring doctors to deliver high-quality diagnostic visuals
- Utilize and maintain imaging machinery, promptly reporting any issues
- Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and maintain patient records using the electronic medical system
- Stay informed about progress in ultrasound techniques and imaging practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
- Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is advantageous
- Strong technical aptitude in sonographic techniques and patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a diverse healthcare team
