Job Title: Bottling Team Lead (Packaging & Warehouse Team Lead) Location: Waco, TX 76701 (ONSITE) Pay Range: $25 – 27.90/Hr. On W2 (Depending on Experience/Interview) Duration: Contract Role (Possible Extension or Temp to Hire for Right Candidate) Available Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00-3:30 PM (30-minute lunch) Job Description: Seeking an experienced Packaging & Warehouse Team Lead to oversee daily warehouse and packaging operations while leading a high-performing team in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving safety, inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and employee development. The ideal candidate has leadership experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution operations and is comfortable operating a forklift. Key Responsibilities Lead and motivate warehouse and packaging teams to achieve operational goals. Manage receiving, storage, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, and distribution activities. Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, audits, reconciliations, and investigations. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, warehouse, and inventory control standards. Monitor warehouse KPIs including inventory accuracy, productivity, on-time shipments, and safety. Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement, and warehouse excellence initiatives. Coordinate material flow between production, packaging, warehouse, and distribution. Conduct employee coaching, performance reviews, training, onboarding, and succession planning. Manage warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling assets. Support budgeting, labor planning, and cost control activities. Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions using Root Cause Analysis and 5 Whys. Required Qualifications Associate's degree (required). Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, warehouse, packaging, or distribution. Experience with inventory control, shipping/receiving, and warehouse operations. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to wear steel-toed shoes and work in a manufacturing plant environment. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, or Continuous Improvement methodologies. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or other ERP systems. Knowledge of warehouse safety, logistics, inventory management, and material handling best practices. Experience leading employee development, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Manufacturing and warehouse setting. Travel between Waco, TX and Bellmead, TX with mileage reimbursement.
