Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a community hospital setting, requiring 1+ year of experience and Siemens MRI platform proficiency.

Details

• Short term acute care hospital setting with 387 staffed beds
• Works within the MRI department serving outpatient, inpatient, and occasional ED patients
• Outpatient cases limited to those with pacemakers or requiring anesthesia, with a limited number per day
• Approximate daily caseload of 12 patients per tech
• 3x12-hour day shifts, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 06:30 to 19:00
• On-call required as needed
• No floating within scope or to sister facilities
• Cerner EMR preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
• BLS and ARRT certification required
• Florida license required if applicable
• Siemens MRI equipment experience required
• Proficiency in Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, and Musculoskeletal imaging required
• Experience with Diffusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing, MIP, MPR, Perfusion, and Spin Echo Images required
• Experience with Surface Coils, T1 and T2 Weighted Images, Contrast administration, and PACS required
• Outpatient, inpatient, and community hospital work setting experience required
