What You’ll Do Deliver up-to-date, evidence-based, compassionate care to patients in clinic Supervise clinical care performed by the clinician team Effectively communicate and operationalize Carbon Health’s mission, vision, and values Engage in special projects related to clinical quality improvement and innovation Lead regular team meetings, resolve conflict, motivate employees, and foster a culture of communication that promotes employee retention and the highest quality of patient care In partnership with the Clinic Manager, set, communicate, and maintain the highest quality of care and safety standards Approximately 30 hours per week of direct patient care Demonstrate working knowledge of financial statements, clinic billing procedures, and all insurance types and payor guidelines; adjust in coordination with district and regional leadership Be up-to-date and knowledgeable with regard to diagnostic and procedure coding, and how it affects reimbursement (train staff as needed) Institute necessary modifications to procedures and clinic resource commitments as financial changes dictate Experiential Outcomes Inspire the team to solve problems independently, empowering through communication, feedback, and recognition Interview, onboard, and mentor the clinician team Identify clinical and patient experience educational opportunities for your team Perform chart audits and one-to-one evaluations of clinicians on a monthly basis Manage payroll targets; create and maintain clinician schedules for your sites Respond to patient and staff complaints regarding clinicians Maintain a high standard of patient care that amplifies patient experience goals to ensure NPS scores are met and exceeded Identify, plan, and participate in marketing activities and community events that increase patient volume and engagement 401(k) Match: Eligible for a 2% employer match Weekend & Holiday Differential: Earn a 6.1% bonus on top of your base hourly rate for working weekends and company designated holidays Productivity Bonuses: Earn up to 28% of your base salary in additional incentives Comprehensive Benefits: Includes Health Insurance, PTO, Paid Sick Leave, Paid Sabbatical, Disability, and Paid Parental Leave What We Offer National Leader in Urgent Care Medicine: Clinics across the nation provide access to credentialing in multiple markets, offering opportunities to pick up shifts across various locations. Qualifications Physician Assistant: Medical/Master’s degree with a valid state license and national certification. Nurse Practitioner: RN license, NP certification, and a valid state license. Minimum 2 years of experience in ER, urgent care, or similar setting. 1+ year of leading others in a healthcare setting. Understanding of financial statements, P&L management, and HR business processes. Active listener who uses soft skills to build and maintain trusting relationships at all levels. Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, planning, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Requirements Valid and unrestricted medical license. Ability to treat patients of all ages. DOT Certification: Must be obtained prior to your start date. Carbon will cover the course and exam fees and provide a roadmap and resources to help you succeed. BLS certification is required and must be obtained before your first day with Carbon Health. Salary and Compensation Salary: $116,220 – $171,225 annually (plus leadership stipend) Productivity Bonus: Up to an additional 28% Full Time Salary (minimum 3 shifts per week): $116,220 – $133,770 base (at 3 shifts per week) $116,220 – $171,225 with productivity bonus (at 3 shifts per week) Compensation offers include an hourly rate, wRVU bonus plan, weekend differential, and a balance of factors such as level of education, experience, work history, and geographic location.
