Insurance Sales Representative ( Licensed )

About the Position

We are looking for a motivated, personable, and sales-driven Insurance Sales Representative to join our agency. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with customers, identifying their insurance needs, and providing knowledgeable service while helping clients protect what matters most.

The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing customer service and sales , with a strong focus on identifying opportunities to cross-sell and expand coverage for our existing book of business.

Key Responsibilities

• Cross-sell existing customers on additional insurance products whenever appropriate. When a customer contacts the agency, take the opportunity to review their needs and identify additional coverage opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with Home, Auto, Life, and other insurance products they may not currently have with the agency.
• Provide exceptional service to existing customers and serve as a trusted resource for their insurance needs.
• Handle day-to-day customer service needs, including:
  • Taking insurance payments
  • Making policy changes
  • Answering customer questions
  • Assisting with claims
  • Updating customer information
  • Other policy and account servicing needs
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
• Educate customers on available coverage options and help them make informed insurance decisions.
• Consistently look for opportunities to protect customers more completely while contributing to the growth of the agency.

Licensing Requirements

Property & Casualty Insurance License – Missouri

• Required prior to starting employment with the agency.

Life Insurance License – Missouri

• Required prior to starting or must be obtained within the first three (3) months of employment , unless otherwise agreed upon.

Schedule & Attendance

• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
• Must be available to work in the office during these hours, except for holidays, approved PTO, and other agreed-upon exemptions.
