What you'll need: Valid Driver's License Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or at least a willingness to learn all things auto parts. High School Diploma or GED. Technical or Trade school courses or degree. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Love fast paced retail environments Great listening skills and empathy for customers And if you have this, even better (not a deal breaker if you don't): Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership. This role is responsible for providing automotive parts solutions, supporting both retail and wholesale customers, and contributing to store performance through product knowledge, responsiveness, and customer engagement. It offers a strong entry point or growth path within the organization Position Performance Measures: Customer satisfaction and service quality (CSAT, repeat business) Accuracy and efficiency in parts identification and order fulfillment Sales performance (retail and wholesale transactions) Responsiveness to customer inquiries (in-store and phone) Team collaboration and support to peers Adherence to store processes, systems, and operational standards Responsibilities The following primary responsibilities are not all inclusive: Provide accurate automotive parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers Deliver a consistently positive and engaging customer experience Utilize product knowledge to assist customers and support team members Operate systems including POS, inventory/catalog tools, and communication devices Maintain high energy and customer focus in a fast-paced retail environment Support store operations including transactions, inquiries, and general workflow Build relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business Utilize delivery management systems to coordinate and dispatch deliveries, pull and prepare orders for customers and drivers, and support efficient logistics and fulfillment operations. Perform general housekeeping, cleaning, and organizational tasks to maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming store environment. Assist with inventory control activities, including receiving merchandise, stocking shelves, conducting cycle counts, and helping maintain accurate inventory records. Contribute to various store operations and team support tasks as needed to optimize store performance, merchandising, and overall efficiency. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to store processes and operational standards.
