Project Manager- Technical App Transition

Technical App Transition PM
Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO) program as a Technical App Transition PM.
Provide VistA/Cerner expertise to interface and application development/configuration efforts. Collaborate with system integrator and provide expertise to ensure the interface design and development meet VA requirements. Support interface design, development, test, and cutover planning from a technical perspective. Review and provide comments on interface artifacts. Serve as project manager between multiple technical teams.
Minimum qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional work experience
- Must have experience managing Information Technology related projects
- Must be well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies
- Must have experience in tracking costs, schedule, and performance progress
- Must be able to identify and mitigate risks
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific or technical discipline, or an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with the VA
- Experience with implementing an Electronic Health Record or similar system
- Experience with VA legacy systems, including: Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS), VistA Web, VistA Patient Record Flags, VistA Inter-Facility Consults)
