The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to 505 CTS/DOIC. Position may be eligible for DCIPS STEM TLMS Responsibilities Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the 505 CTS/DOIC, ensuring that ISR Exercise Planning complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Represents 505 CTS/DOIC with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with higher headquarters, worldwide Combatant Command Staffs, MAJCOM staffs, Air Operation Centers, Defense Intelligence Agency, SAF/IA, and worldwide joint components. Plans, directs, coordinates, reviews and evaluates ISR operations of 20 or more annual service level and DoD/JCS level exercises and events supporting JFACC and AOC training. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include applying independent judgment in balancing the situation's need for accuracy and expediency. Due to the unit's worldwide temporary duty schedule and 24/7 exercise capability, the incumbent must utilize independent judgement in order to meet mission needs. Incumbent uses initiative and resourcefulness in deviating from traditional methods or researching trends and patterns to develop new methods, criteria, or propose new policy. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Knowledge of a comprehensive range of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices; and multi-source intelligence information systems to capture and report on data in order to develop intelligence capabilities and threat assessments, interpret policy, and commit resources. Knowledge of advanced dissemination principles, concepts, and methods to disburse the most complex information/situations attained from multiple sources. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures in order to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of security practices for ensuring the safeguarding of classified information. Education ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS.
