Senior Manager, Talent Management

Work schedule: This position is hybrid with onsite requirement 2-3 days a week at our Irvine HQ. How you’ll make an impact As the Senior Manager, Talent Management, you will be responsible for the management and strategic development of HR programs and practices that provide the framework for the design and execution of specific Talent Management areas, as defined below. This includes ensuring alignment with Edwards' Talent and Organization strategy, HR strategy, and business needs and ensuring solutions are globally scalable and sustainable. Drive a world‑class Talent Management experience by integrating leading practices and innovative solutions with market intelligence and future trends. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain talent management practices, programs, frameworks, and processes based on business needs, program requirements, metrics of success, and global COE alignment. Define and refine talent management philosophies for areas within scope, establishing program objectives, policy requirements, and deliverables. Identify gaps, recommend solutions, and lead implementation of programs and process improvements or course corrections to optimize alignment and performance. Oversee and maintain program design and delivery, including the Amplify Development program and other training initiatives. Use data and analytics to support continuous improvement, demonstrate value, improve quality/satisfaction, and reduce costs. Leverage leading practices and future trends to innovate program design, sustain and maintain programs, and create seamless employee experiences across HR offerings. Develop and manage third‑party vendor relationships to ensure performance and maximize investment. Provide tier‑3 escalation support for policy/program issues and collaborate with HRT to design reports and improve data elements for compliance and evaluation. Anticipate the need for additional, targeted development programs; identify, evaluate, and lead the implementation of complex training and development initiatives and process improvements. Other incidental duties as required. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, Organization Development, or related field with 10 years HR experience, OR Master's Degree with 8 years HR experience, or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria. Minimum 5 years of experience in talent management, learning, design, execution, ownership, progressive HR leadership or relevant consulting experience. Preferred Qualifications Proven success in a fast‑paced, global, growing business environment. Creative thinking and innovative program design skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, including influencing, consulting, negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management. Ability to work seamlessly across cultures, virtually, and build relationships in an evolving organization. Strong analytical and critical thinking; ability to diagnose, define and guide design and enhancements of programs. Experience in data and analytics to drive informed decisions and evaluate success. Prior experience implementing and managing HR functional programs, policies, and procedures. Experience with HR technologies (e.g., Workday) and ERP systems. Proficient in Microsoft tools and applications. Knowledge of HR principles, theories, concepts, local and federal laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. Advanced knowledge of current and upcoming trends, thought leadership, and leading practices. Strong planning, project management, written, and verbal communication skills. Strong business acumen and global mindset. For California, the base pay range for this position is $121,000 to $171,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors, including qualifications, education, and prior experience.
