Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:
Provide specialized ICU nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment. Responsible for monitoring patient status, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions continuously to identify changes requiring intervention.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders and protocols.
• Document patient care activities, observations, and responses accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control policies, and healthcare regulations.
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, including floating to cover breaks and additional support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California RN license with active licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Proven experience in ICU or critical care nursing.
• Demonstrate strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and work efficiently under pressure.
• Proof of negative TB screen within the past 12 months.
