Part-Time Nurse Practitioner - Burlington, Kentucky

Interested in a healthier work/life balance? There is an immediate opportunity for the right Nurse Practitioner to provide part-time care in an on-site health and wellness clinic located near Burlington, KY for 25 hours a week (Monday, Wednesday & Friday). Through a coordinated care model in the workplace and a comprehensive suite of services; direct primary care, wellness, and occupational medicine— the clinician will create a greater continuum of care and make an impact on the health of the workforce.

What a Mid-Level Practitioner can expect from this position:

Face to face clinical encounters with employees, spouses, and dependents over 3 years old. Direct Primary Care, occupational injury assessment & treatment, as well as disease management and wellness visits.

Medical oversight provided by a local Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer

Work closely with the employer on work injury cases

On-Call 4-5 days per month

Minimum Requirements:

MS - master's in science of nursing

Graduation from an accredited NP program

Active licensure in Kentucky or eligibility to obtain licensure

National certification from an appropriate credentialing body

Phlebotomy skills are strongly preferred

Strong organizational skills and willingness to complete administrative tasks

The ideal candidate will exhibit several of the following characteristics:

Be accustomed to working in an autonomous environment

Have a background in primary care, family medicine, emergency medicine, urgent care, and/or internal medicine

Trained to always “put patient care first”

Be action oriented and solution driven

Be passionate about implementing life-saving, quality enriching solutions

Familiarity with Windows-based applications (Outlook, Word, OneDrive, SharePoint) and electronic medical records
