Infection Preventionist-LPN Complete Care is looking for a dedicated Infection Preventionist-LPN to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. Infection Preventionist-LPN Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- Associate Degree in Nursing required
- Current, unencumbered New Jersey LPN license
- Infection Preventionist Certification required
- At least 1 year of long-term care/skilled nursing experience as an Infection Preventionist
- Provide patient care based on scientific principles, nursing theory, and evidence-based practice
- Recognize changes in residents' conditions and intervene appropriately
- Prioritize nursing actions based on resident needs, acuity, and desired outcomes
- Implement physician orders accurately and within appropriate time frames
- Educate and counsel residents and their families regarding wound care processes and related concerns
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, or Administrator
- One weekend per month required
