Field Applications Specialist ScM - West

Field Applications Specialist supporting single-cell analysis instrumentation and techniques across the western U.S. region. The role involves technical customer support, instrument installation, training, and collaboration with sales and field teams to meet regional business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Execute field support strategy including instrument installation, applications training, and technical customer support
• Maintain current knowledge of single-cell analysis techniques, industry practices, and product releases
• Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback for improvement
• Participate in voice of customer initiatives, beta testing, and provide technical input for product development
• Travel up to 60% throughout assigned western U.S. territory

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences discipline
• 3+ years hands-on single cell analysis experience in genomics, proteomics, or next-generation sequencing
• 2+ years providing scientific customer support in single cell analysis techniques
• Proficiency with single-cell instrumentation, assay troubleshooting, and workflow design
• Strong understanding of laboratory workflows across multiple scientific disciplines
• Valid state driver's license with 3 years consecutive driving history
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

Compensation: $95,600-$153,000 USD annual base plus incentives
