Senior Oracle Cloud Database Engineer

DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Oracle Cloud Database Engineer in Mesa, AZ.Overview:We are seeking a Senior Oracle Cloud Database Engineer to support and optimize enterprise Oracle database environments across both on-prem and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role focuses on database architecture, cloud migrations, performance tuning, automation, high availability, security, and disaster recovery.Key Responsibilities:* Design, implement, and maintain Oracle databases in OCI and hybrid environments* Support Oracle Autonomous Database, Exadata, Data Guard, GoldenGate, RMAN, RAC, and ASM technologies* Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-prem Oracle environments to OCI* Optimize database performance, reliability, and security* Manage backups, recovery, monitoring, patching, and upgrades* Automate administrative tasks using Terraform, SQL, PL/SQL, Python, Bash, or PowerShell* Troubleshoot complex production issues and support mission-critical applicationsRequirements* 8+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience* 3+ years of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience* Experience supporting large-scale enterprise database environments* Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred)* Strong expertise with RAC, ASM, Exadata, Data Guard, GoldenGate, RMAN, and performance tuning* Strong Linux administration and scripting skills* Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving abilitiesJob TypeDirect HireCompensation140000 - $150000
