Spot Welder OpportunityTwin City Staffing is hiring a spot welder to join a booming manufacturing company in Brooklyn Center! If you're mechanically inclined, experienced in setup and operation, and want room to grow, this is the job for you!Location: Brooklyn Center, MNWage: $24.00 - $32.00 HourlyHours: 6:00 am- 4:30 pm, Monday – Thursday 4-day weekend!!Benefits of the spot welder:Health, dental, vision, life, disability, critical illness, and non-work accident insurance (available the first of the month following your start date)401(k) with company matchTuition reimbursementCompany uniforms and PPE safety glasses allowanceClimate-controlled, air-conditioned, and heated shop with company partiesDuties of the spot welder:Set up spot welders for new parts, applications, and determine appropriate welding parameters based on material type and thicknessSelect proper electrodes for each job and adjust weld current, squeeze time, weld time, and other weld settingsTroubleshoot weld quality issues and make necessary parameter adjustmentsRead blueprints, perform shop math, and inspect parts for quality and accuracyRequirements of the spot welder:Previous experience setting up resistance spot welding equipmentExpertise in electrode selection and weld parameter developmentAbility to determine and establish weld settings for new partsMechanical aptitude, strong math skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbsPass a pre-employment drug screening and background checkAdditional information: Apply today!
