Circuit Design Engineer III, Secret Clearance

Avionics Circuit Design Engineer Avionics Circuit Design Engineer where you will work on the development of a sophisticated state‑of‑the‑art avionics product in a world class Integrated Product Development environment. Location Location: Littleton, CO near Lockheed Martin Space facility. This position does not support teleworking and requires full‑time onsite presence. Flexible 9x80 schedule (3 days in a 10‑day period) is required. Responsibilities Design and capture electrical schematics and guide board layouts. Perform electrical Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on the development and integration of world‑class avionics systems. Resolve test anomalies, troubleshooting, and generation, review, and presentation of Product Certification. Support system‑level testing. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. 3+ years professional experience in aerospace hardware development cycle. Experience supporting technical evaluation of design and requirements verification. Experience interacting with peers, management, and government customers. Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentations. Missile design experience. Active DoD Secret clearance; US Citizen required. Desired Skills Experience with design, test, operations, and systems engineering disciplines. Experience in schematic capture using Xpedition or similar tools. Experience with PSPICE, Saber, or other electronics simulation tools. Experience performing electronics analysis (Worst Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Critical Analysis). Experience performing failure investigation on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, and System Level). Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic, collaborative environment and build consensus. Demonstrated problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills. Adaptability, self‑initiative in solving complex problems. Effective teamwork in diverse environments. Security Clearance Position requires a government security clearance. Active DoD Secret clearance required; US Citizen necessary.
