Private Credit Associate Manager - Research

Dartmouth Partners is partnering with a leading institutional investment and advisory firm to identify a Manager Research Associate for its growing private credit team. This is an excellent opportunity for an investment professional looking to build expertise in fund due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and private credit research.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence on private credit fund managers, including track record, portfolio, and performance analysis.

• Support manager research initiatives, market mapping exercises, peer benchmarking, and fee analyses.

• Prepare investment committee materials, due diligence reports, and client deliverables.

• Monitor existing fund investments and review quarterly portfolio reporting.

• Develop and maintain analytical models, databases, and research tools.

• Participate in manager meetings, industry conferences, and broader research projects supporting the firm's investment platform.

Ideal Background

• 2 to 3 years of experience in private credit, asset management, investment banking, consulting, or a related investment role.

• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.

• Experience with Excel and data analysis tools; SQL and Python exposure is a plus.

• Understanding of credit markets, fund structures, and investment due diligence processes.

• Progress toward CFA or CAIA is beneficial but not required.
