Non-Invasive Cardiologist Opportunity

Trinity Health Medical Group (THMG) is seeking a full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist (MD/DO) to join its growing Cardiovascular team serving the communities of Muskegon and Ludington, Michigan. The Non-Invasive Cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in both outpatient clinic and hospital settings while collaborating with a multidisciplinary cardiac care team.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide non-invasive cardiology consultations and evaluations for patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions
• Diagnose and manage cardiomyopathy, coronary artery disease (CAD), arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, and other cardiac conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on clinical assessment and diagnostic findings
• Participate in the Congestive Heart Failure Clinic, providing ongoing management and care for heart failure patients
• Manage and monitor patients with lipid disorders and cardiovascular risk factors
• Conduct presurgical cardiac evaluations for patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Interpret and perform diagnostic cardiology testing including echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
• Provide inpatient cardiology consultations and participate in hospital-based cardiovascular management
• Contribute to management of patients with implantable cardiac devices, including pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), including remote monitoring
• Work closely with the Cardiovascular Network of West Michigan, a partnership between Trinity Health and University of Michigan Health-West
• Support a comprehensive cardiovascular program that includes structural heart services, electrophysiology, and cardiothoracic surgery programs
• Provide care for patients requiring management of: Arrhythmias, Cardiomyopathy, Coronary artery disease (CAD), Congestive heart failure, Valvular heart disease
• Collaborate with interventional cardiology and cardiothoracic teams managing procedures such as: Cardiac catheterization, Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), Electrical cardioversion, Pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, Structural heart procedures (ASD, PFO, TAVR)

Open to experienced Board-Certified provider or TRULY Board Eligible recent graduates. Open to new graduates and experience. Physicians must be board certified in their specialty, or board eligible and will become board certified within 2 years of becoming board eligible. Not accepting candidates who have lapsed Board Certification and need to obtain again. Not accepting Locums candidates.

Certification Requirements:

• BLS
• Board Certified
• Board Eligible
• State License Requirements: Michigan
• Additional License Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology / Interventional Cardiology, BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification must be maintained, DEA License
