Senior Software Engineer

Location: Oakbrook, IL 60523 | In the office Monday – Friday Responsibilities Designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting enhancements and new features/functionally for a large-scale, complex ERP application with a focus on building and enhancing APIs Participating in architecture and design discussions, contributing with practical and efficient technical solutions Improving the performance, stability, and scalability of IBM i (AS/400, i5/OS, System i, iSeries) applications Developing and supporting REST APIs that enable integration with internal/external systems Collaborating with business analysts, software engineers, and technical leaders to deliver high-quality software solutions that align with business needs Supporting troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution as needed Creating documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of development best practices Requirements 10+ years of experience with 5+ years of experience with IBM i, RPG, SQL DB2 Experience designing and developing REST/RESTful APIs Experience with Java is preferred Experience with JSON, XML, ERP and/or supply chain/distribution systems is preferred Medical, dental, vision plans, Health Saving Accounts (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), 401K plan with company match, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible PTO, 3 floating holidays, paid parental leave, commuter benefits, and more #J-18808-Ljbffr
