The Software Engineer is responsible for all stages of the software development lifecycle using a variety of technologies and tools to build impactful software solutions. The scope of this job includes building and optimizing comprehensive solutions that prioritize end-user efficiency and experience.We invite you to apply today and join us in shaping the future of healthcare!Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain features and components of WellSky solutions with an emphasis on code quality, performance, and scalability.Collaborate with solution managers, designers, and other teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, and deliver high-impact features that align with business goals.Identify and resolve technical issues in production and development environments.Optimize system performance and scalability through troubleshooting and ongoing improvements.Prepare technical documentation and participate in code reviews to ensure that software code meets internal standards and follows industry best practices.Develop and maintain a robust set of unit tests and participate in other styles of automated testing, including integration, load, and performance testing to validate quality of code written.Leverage AI tools and platforms as an integral part of daily responsibilities to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows, and drive data-informed outcomes.Perform other job duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experienceAt least 2-4 years of relevant work experienceHands-on experience with PostgreSQLWorking knowledge of Agile development and understanding of the SDLC processProficient in debugging applications and performance tuningExperience and proficient with LinuxPreferred Qualifications:Practical experience working with cloud technologiesNetwork, server, and application-status monitoringExperience in healthcare domainApplication Development/Coding/Scripting ExperienceExperience with Microsoft SQL ServerJob Expectations:Willing to work as a part on an on-call rotationWilling to work additional or irregular hours as neededMust work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client informationMust be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of timeWellSky is where independent thinking and collaboration come together to create an authentic culture.
