Waitress/Server – Part-Time

About Boxcar Diner (Our Father’s Table, LLC)

Boxcar Diner is a busy, family-owned diner in Liverpool, NY. We take pride in serving great food, providing friendly service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, stays busy, and takes pride in doing the job right.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Deliver meals promptly and ensure guests have an excellent dining experience.
• Keep dining areas clean, stocked, and organized.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Refill drinks, clear tables, and assist with side work.
• Work as part of a team and jump in where help is needed.
• Complete assigned tasks consistently and thoroughly throughout each shift.

• Consistently follows through on assigned responsibilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision.
• Previous serving experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Availability Requirements

Weekend availability is required. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays when needed.
