About Us Formerly Aurora Santa Rosa Hospital, SRBHH was opened in 2016 and is regarded as an integral part of the greater Santa Rosa and Northern California mental health system of care. Conveniently located in the North Bay, this hospital consists of 144 acute psychiatric inpatient beds serving adolescents and adults and treating both mental health and co‑occurring psychiatric and substance abuse conditions. Position Title Behavior Analyst Associate Pay Range $27.00–$34.09 PER HOUR Reports To Director of Clinical Services Description of Position The Behavior Analyst Associate supports the clinical team under the supervision of the BCBA by developing behavior plans, conducting behavioral analysis of target behaviors, educating staff, facilitating skill‑acquisition groups post‑master’s completion, training families, providing referrals, and maintaining occupational health safety practices. Key Responsibilities Enhance the delivery of measurable behavioral treatment to patients. Collaborate with RNs, psychiatrists, and other team members to reduce maladaptive behaviors. Collect, monitor, and analyze data using appropriate forms and procedures. Assist in developing behavioral assessment and treatment protocols under BCBA supervision. Perform indirect and direct assessments of selected target behaviors. Coordinate behavioral assessment and treatment protocols for patients. Respond to escalated and crisis behaviors to de‑escalate and reduce harm. Provide staff training on managing challenging behaviors with replacement behaviors and positive reinforcement. Participate in case conferences and ongoing meetings as needed. Prepare and maintain data collection sheets and other forms for analysis. Document services in the electronic medical record system. Consult with other departments to collaborate on patient care and performance improvement. Facilitate post‑master’s skill‑acquisition groups, including social skills, ADL support, behavior modification, and sensory regulation. Participate in regular meetings with clinical leadership to provide program updates. Uphold the organization’s ethics and customer service standards. Position Requirements Knowledge and Experience Enrolled in or completion of a Master’s degree program in Behavioral Analysis, Psychology, or related field. On track toward BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Minimum one year of experience in behavioral analysis and treatment. Handle With Care certification required, or obtained within orientation period. Current CPR certification required, or obtained within orientation period. Skills and Abilities Maintain patient confidentiality. Show sensitivity and willingness to interact with diverse populations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently. Excellent verbal and written communication. Good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making. Commitment to collaborative work and motivating others. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, expanding organization. Physical Requirements Use standard office equipment and computer for extended periods. Communicate effectively in person or by telephone to diverse populations. Give and follow verbal and written instructions with accuracy. Perform complex mental functions and basic arithmetic; interpret data, laws, and policies. Have adequate vision for close details. Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. Sit or stand for at least one hour at a time; move frequently throughout the day. Lift up to ten (10) pounds.
