Datastage Developer

Responsibilities Understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ETL solutions. Design and develop DataStage jobs to extract, transform, and load data. Use various DataStage stages (e.g., Transformer, Aggregator, Lookup, Filter) to manipulate data. Create job sequences using Autosys to orchestrate the execution of multiple jobs. Manage and maintain DataStage server environments, ensuring system stability and performance (both on‑prem and cloud). Analyze and optimize existing ETL jobs for performance improvements. Troubleshoot ETL job failures and identify root causes during migration. Monitor job execution and proactively address potential issues. Implement and maintain best practices for ETL design and creation. Maintain hand‑on experience on DataStage migration or upgrade from on‑prem to cloud. Document processes, procedures, and system configurations for knowledge sharing. Participate in team calls and meetings. Use DataStage Anywhere ETL where applicable. Qualifications Experience with Git and knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Python skills and strong knowledge of SQL & PL/SQL. Bachelor of Computer Science or related field. Experience with DataStage and related ETL technologies. Benefits Discretionary annual incentive.
