Key Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising PT's plan of care
• Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist with patient education and development of home exercise programs
• Communicate patient status updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards as required by state, federal, and facility guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active state PTA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Ability to follow established treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a rehabilitation setting
• Familiarity with documentation and electronic medical record systems
