Optech Orthotics & Prosthetics is seeking an experienced and motivated Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CPO) to join our growing team across three Illinois locations.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic patient care.
• Evaluate patients and design, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices based on individual clinical needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely coding and clinical documentation utilizing OPIE software.
• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians, therapists, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and other referral sources.
• Support practice growth by educating referral partners about available services and identifying opportunities to expand professional relationships.
• Maintain and strengthen existing referral relationships through consistent communication, responsiveness, and service excellence.
• Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative colleagues across all locations.
• Serve as a knowledgeable clinical resource to colleagues when appropriate.
• Stay current on clinical techniques, technology, industry standards, documentation requirements, and developments within the O&P profession.
• Participate in organizational projects and initiatives related to patient care, clinical quality, operational improvement, and practice growth.
• Perform other duties as assigned that support patient care, team effectiveness, and organizational success.

Position Requirements

• ABC Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics required.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge and demonstrated commitment to quality patient care.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop referral networks and maintain professional partnerships.
• Ability to manage an independent clinical workload and priorities effectively.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Strong documentation, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Illinois licensure or eligibility for Illinois licensure required.

Salary Range: $80,000–$110,000

Compensation within the posted range will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, knowledge, geographic location, and other relevant factors.
